Registered Nurse – Acute Cardiac Telemetry (Full‑Time Night)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in acute cardiac telemetry delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care on a night shift within an interdisciplinary team. The role follows the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and supports evidence‑based practice and research.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation with cultural sensitivity.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision‑making.
• Coordinate safe, quality care via interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and precept new staff to promote professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Engage in evidence‑based practice, research, and data collection to improve patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years direct patient‑care nursing experience.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification at hire.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical‑thinking abilities; proficient with technology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies.
