Registered Dental Hygienist - School Based

About the role

Finger Lakes Community Health, one of the fastest-growing health centers in New York State with eight locations and over 28,000 patients, is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join its expanding dental team. The position works with the school-based dental team, going onsite to area schools for treatment, and may also require work in the Health Centers as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide preventative dental services to community patients, including health education, screenings, prophylaxis, fluoride and sealants.
• Work onsite at area schools as part of the school-based dental team.
• Be available to work in the Health Centers as needed.

Required profile

• A current, unrestricted NYS Dental Hygienist license.
• CPR certification.
• Prior experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings.
• Fluent communication in both Spanish and English is preferred.
