About the role

Join the Clinical Affairs Department of Texas A&M College of Dentistry as a Registered Dental Assistant. You will support a high‑volume, fast‑paced dental clinic, providing indirect patient care and assisting clinicians with a variety of procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
• Assist during clinical procedures, handling instruments and materials.
• Schedule patients, retrieve charts, and manage financial transactions.
• Operate dental radiographic equipment and ensure proper infection‑control practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Dental Assistant license in Texas.
• CPR certification.
• For Level II: minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• For Level III: minimum 4 years of dental assisting experience in a private practice, clinic, or training program.

Required skills

• Dental radiographic equipment operation.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and materials.
• Infection‑control and aseptic technique proficiency.
• CPR certification.
