Regional Vice President - Facilities

About the role

The Regional Vice President of Asset Management leads facilities management and capital program execution across a large, multi‑market real‑estate portfolio for Public Storage. Reporting to senior leadership, the RVP sets strategy, drives operational excellence, and ensures consistent delivery of improvements, repairs, and maintenance aligned with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Senior Facilities Managers and Facilities Managers across multiple regions.
• Establish scalable processes, governance, and performance standards for capital projects and maintenance programs.
• Oversee site assessments, budgeting, scoping, and execution to ensure portfolio consistency.
• Prioritize resources, manage risk, and allocate budgets at the portfolio level.
• Define and execute enterprise vendor strategy, procurement, and performance‑management frameworks.
• Drive national initiatives that enhance asset value, cost control, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven executive leadership experience in facilities or asset management within a large real‑estate portfolio.
• Track record of building high‑performing, multi‑regional teams.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional and executive stakeholders.
• Experience with capital project oversight, budgeting, and risk management.
