About the role
The Regional Sales Manager for the GAPA Central Region will lead commercial execution of growth strategies, increase revenue and market share, and mentor a team of seven field sales representatives. This position reports to 3M U.S. & Canada National Sales Leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Drive GAPA growth strategies and expand market share across the region.
- Coach, mentor and develop seven field sales reps in territory management, account planning and disciplined sales execution.
- Identify new business opportunities, prioritize territory expansion and manage forecasting, pipeline health and performance rhythm.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM for pipeline and forecast management.
- Partner with Channel, Portfolio/Marketing, Application Engineering and Customer Operations to ensure aligned regional execution.
- Coordinate end‑user pull‑through, value realization and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (required) and seven years of sales or marketing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Experience in the automotive industry (OEM, aftermarket, dealership) and strong financial acumen.
