Regional Medical Director - Psychiatrist

About the role

Family Care Center is seeking a Regional Medical Director – Psychiatrist to provide therapy and medication management across its outpatient clinics. The role involves leading clinical care, ensuring high standards, and supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering behavioral health services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide therapy and medication management to diagnose and treat patients under your care.
• Deliver clinical services that meet or exceed customary practice standards in the community.
• Adhere to the medical ethics and standards of the American Medical Association and relevant specialty boards.
• Collaborate with licensed therapists, psychiatrists, psychiatric NPs/PAs, psychologists, TMS specialists, and support staff.
• Support clinic operations with autonomy while maintaining high‑quality patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible psychiatrist.
• Active medical license in the state(s) of practice.
• Proven experience providing therapy and medication management.
• Commitment to ethical practice in line with AMA standards.
• Ability to thrive in a clinician‑led, multidisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• AI‑supported clinical documentation tools.
