Regional Manager – Solar Operations

About the role

The Regional Manager leads the business unit responsible for operations and maintenance of solar facilities in the region, ensuring safe and timely completion of all service obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to 6‑10 field technicians, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
• Oversee service obligations, schedule and approve work orders, and coordinate emergency response with 365‑day coverage.
• Plan and execute annual preventative maintenance, including electrical and vegetation work.
• Manage subcontractors, company tools, inventory, and budget while supporting hiring and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in utility solar PV.
• At least 3 years of service or project‑oriented management experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb and work in varied weather and electrical hazard conditions.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910.269 and NFPA 70E standards.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics, site plans, and technical specifications.
• Technical expertise in solar O&M best practices and troubleshooting.
