Regional Maintenance Manager – Charleston

About the role

The Regional Maintenance Manager will lead and mentor on‑site maintenance teams across multiple properties in the Charleston region. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure compliance with Greystar’s maintenance standards, drive preventive programs, and support budgeting and capital planning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct annual and elevated surface inspections, compile reports and present findings to leadership.
• Guide on‑site staff in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures and appliances.
• Schedule and oversee preventive and floating maintenance activities.
• Develop and deliver training workshops using the Learning Management System, tracking attendance and completion.
• Assist the Regional Property Manager with the annual maintenance budget and capital planning.
• Evaluate and manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality, service and pricing standards.
• Participate in the interview and selection process for Service Supervisors, providing technical assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multi‑site maintenance operations in residential or commercial real estate.
• Strong mentorship and training abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting recommendations to owners and senior leaders.
• Ability to manage budgets and capital projects.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and safety.
