Regional Director Supply Chain – Materials Management Logistics

About the role

The Regional Director of Supply Chain leads supply chain functions across an entire region for CHRISTUS Health. Reporting to the System Director of Operations and Logistics and working closely with the Regional CFO, this senior leader drives process improvements, compliance, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the System Director in setting regional supply chain strategy.
• Lead facility‑based supply chain teams to implement regional and system‑wide initiatives.
• Track staff productivity and operational performance at each facility.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, OIG Vendor Compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee accurate inventory transactions within the Infor system, including issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
• Coordinate fiscal year‑end inventories and report results to finance and logistics leadership.
• Provide interim coverage for the Materials Management Director as needed.
• Champion communication between the logistics team and facilities to resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Manage contract launch packets to meet a 60‑day turnaround.
• Review monthly and weekly reports, collaborating with local finance on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership aligned with OneCHRISTUS competencies (Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders).
• Experience directing supply chain operations in a multi‑facility environment.
• Ability to collaborate with financial leadership to meet regional goals.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance for healthcare supply chains.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Infor inventory management system.
