Regional Director of Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced hospitality leader to serve as Regional Director of Operations for a portfolio of hotels, apartment‑hotels and short‑term rentals across the United States. In this executive role you will translate corporate strategy into measurable results, drive profitability and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational and financial performance of a multi‑market regional portfolio, ensuring profitability, guest satisfaction and consistency.
• Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with strategic objectives and property‑level execution.
• Coach and develop Area Directors, General Managers and regional leadership teams.
• Partner with Revenue Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Guest Experience, Real Estate and Product teams to implement scalable initiatives.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with ownership groups and strategic partners through clear business updates and financial insights.
• Establish operational frameworks, quality standards and performance metrics to improve efficiency and cost optimization.
• Identify operational risks, drive process improvements and create scalable systems for future expansion.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, hospitality management or multi‑site service organizations.
• Previous General Manager experience with full P&L responsibility in a full‑service or select‑service hotel.
• Proven track record leading geographically distributed teams and achieving operational, financial and guest‑satisfaction targets.
• Strong expertise in hospitality operations, revenue management, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
