Regional Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Controller to lead finance and accounting operations for Kyocera Document Solutions New York Metro, Inc. The role ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies and IFRS, delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision‑making across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, cash‑flow reports and variance analyses in line with KDA policies and IFRS.
• Manage period‑end close, establish cut‑offs, analyse pre‑close results and approve necessary adjustments.
• Reconcile all balance‑sheet accounts monthly and monitor financial data for accuracy.
• Oversee cash management, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including credit risk mitigation.
• Coordinate the annual independent audit and ensure statutory tax reporting compliance.
• Maintain and act as super‑user of the E‑Automate accounting system.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, auditors and financial institutions.
• Monitor inventory and fixed‑asset observations to meet KDA KPI requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a controller or senior accounting role within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate accounting policies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month‑end close, financial reporting and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building abilities.
