Regional Community Manager – Charleston

About the role

The Regional Community Manager will oversee a portfolio of Greystar properties in the Charleston region, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and high tenant satisfaction. This position combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day property management to drive profitability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect properties and review financial, market, and operational reports to meet performance goals.
• Collaborate with Community Managers and regional support leaders to improve asset and team performance.
• Implement local and national operational initiatives, championing change across all properties.
• Manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Prepare and present regular performance, financial, and market trend reports to ownership and senior management.
• Foster positive tenant relationships, address concerns promptly, and run retention programs to reduce turnover.
• Work with leasing teams to develop marketing strategies and maintain optimal occupancy rates.
• Oversee maintenance programs to ensure properties are well‑maintained and regulatory‑compliant.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a portfolio of residential properties.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop and control budgets.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for tenant relations and stakeholder reporting.
• Knowledge of real‑estate market trends and regulatory requirements.
