Regional Clinical Sales Specialist – Trauma

About the role

The Regional Clinical Sales Specialist supports orthopedic trauma clients across the Sacramento, CA territory, including Roseville, Tahoe, Reno and surrounding areas. The role provides clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and operating rooms, working closely with sales consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support for orthopedic surgical cases.
• Serve as the sole company representative to ensure proper equipment is available and functioning during surgeries.
• Handle hospital billing, build and close purchase orders, and manage logistics and asset deployment.
• Share customer, procedural and market insights with sales, clinical, marketing and strategic account teams.
• Provide consultation to Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments and maintain promotional materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree, medical certification (CST, PT, etc.) or recent active military duty.
• Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience.
• Ability to travel frequently within the U.S., including overnight and weekend trips.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to relocate to the assigned region.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Clinical and technical support of orthopedic surgical cases.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and basic surgical procedures.
• Expertise with surgical instruments, implants and equipment logistics.
• Experience with hospital billing, purchase order management and asset tracking.
