About the role
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Regional Clinical Sales Specialist to support orthopaedic surgeons and hospitals in the Portland, OR territory. The role combines clinical expertise with logistical support to ensure successful surgical cases and optimal product availability.
Key responsibilities
- Provide independent clinical and technical assistance to surgeons in the operating room, ensuring equipment is functional and available.
- Manage hospital billing, purchase orders, and logistics for orthopaedic surgical cases.
- Track and maintain deployment of instruments, implants, and assets across the assigned region.
- Collect and share market insights with sales, clinical, and marketing teams to drive solution improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree, medical certification, or recent active military service.
- Minimum 2‑4 years of professional experience in a clinical, sales, or logistics environment.
- Ability to travel frequently across the U.S., including overnight and weekend trips.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to relocate if needed.
Required skills
- Knowledge of orthopaedic surgical instruments and operating‑room procedures.
- Experience with equipment logistics, asset management, and billing processes.
- Strong data‑analysis capability for reporting and problem solving.
- Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and basic surgical concepts.
