Regional Advisor II – Central Texas

About the role

The Regional Advisor II supports Texas A&M University’s undergraduate recruitment in Central Texas. The role develops and implements admission, financial aid and early‑outreach strategies to attract prospective students, while mentoring staff and leading select recruitment programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute admission, financial aid and outreach initiatives.
• Mentor and train recruitment staff and act as lead on specific programs.
• Travel extensively across the assigned territory, including evenings and weekends.
• Attend multiple training sessions and large recruiting events at the College Station campus.
• Coordinate meetings and conferences beyond regular working hours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum two years of experience in student services, admissions, recruitment or financial aid.
• Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work evenings/weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using student information systems such as Banner, AIS, Howdy, MOSES, SLATE or TAMUDocs.
• Basic project‑management and reporting abilities.
