About the role

Guava is seeking its first in‑house Recruiter & HR Manager to lead talent acquisition for its revenue organization and serve as the primary HR partner for the growing team. Based in Los Angeles, this role combines full‑cycle recruiting with people‑operations responsibilities in a fast‑moving AI company.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruiting for revenue roles, including Account Executives, Customer Success Representatives, and Forward Deploy Engineers.
• Partner with sales and engineering leadership to define hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, outbound outreach and referral networks.
• Screen, interview and advance candidates while maintaining a high‑quality candidate experience.
• Track recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill and offer acceptance rates.
• Lead onboarding for all new hires, ensuring a smooth first‑day experience.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbook and people programs aligned with company values.
• Support compensation benchmarking, performance processes and team‑structure decisions.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and recommend HR tools, systems and vendors to support scaling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably closing go‑to‑market and revenue roles.
• Proven ability to source and hire Account Executives, Customer Success Managers or similar positions.
• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle and building HR processes.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑growth, ambiguous environment.
• Strong partnership skills with leadership and ability to influence hiring strategy.
