Receptionist – Veterinary Clinic

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our AAHA‑accredited animal hospital in Templeton, California. You will welcome clients and their pets, manage appointments, and support the veterinary team in a fast‑paced, high‑quality care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
• Answer phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the clinic’s online booking system.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records, including intake forms and payment processing.
• Coordinate communication between pet owners, veterinary staff, and external laboratories.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, supplies inventory, and basic administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine love for animals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to complete an online assessment as part of the hiring process.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
• Experience using appointment scheduling or practice management software is a plus.
