About the role
We are seeking a polished and proactive Receptionist / Office Assistant to join a fast‑paced litigation firm in San Francisco. The role blends front‑desk duties with broader office coordination, providing essential support to attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and incoming calls.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area.
- Manage mail, deliveries, couriers, office supplies, and overall office coordination.
- Draft, edit, format, and proofread correspondence and other documents.
- Support calendar management, meeting logistics, conference‑room setup, catering, and expense reporting.
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance to attorneys, paralegals, and other staff.
- Assist with ad‑hoc projects and basic conference‑room technology setup.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office assistant role.
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
- Professional, client‑facing demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive.
