Receiving Clerk – Purchasing & Inventory

About the role

We are seeking a Receiving Clerk to join the Procurement Department at Makena Golf and Beach Club. The role supports purchasing, inventory control, and ensures smooth receipt and storage of food, beverage, and other supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist day‑to‑day operations of the Purchasing Department and storeroom.
• Check and distribute mail, route deliveries to appropriate departments.
• Maintain vendor relationships and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Receive, store, and organize food and beverage deliveries in walk‑in or dry storage.
• Operate forklifts and electronic scanning equipment to move and verify items.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts with kitchen and F&B staff.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety policies.
• Support special purchasing projects and perform other tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior purchasing or warehouse experience in hospitality, resort, or distribution settings (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
