R&D CNC Programmer

About the role

Join our team as an R&D CNC Programmer, responsible for developing CNC programs from engineered drawings, operating turning and milling machines, and ensuring high‑quality precision components meet strict standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review operation travelers, engineering drawings and work instructions to plan jobs, select tools and determine efficient machining methods.
• Set up CNC turning and milling machines, install tooling, load programs and select optimal cutting parameters.
• Load, center, chuck and fixture parts, monitor machine performance, inspect tooling and make adjustments to maintain quality.
• Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspections using precision measuring instruments and document inspection results.
• Report worn or damaged tooling, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow safety and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Experience programming CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM or similar CAM software.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Experience with FANUC, Haas or similar CNC controls and strong knowledge of G‑code/M‑code, tooling selection, speeds and feeds, and blueprint interpretation including GD&T.
