RCM Business Analyst – Remote

About the role

Raventra Health, a medical services company, is seeking an RCM Business Analyst to analyze revenue cycle workflows, gather business requirements, and support process improvements across billing, coding, claims, and accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing revenue cycle workflows, identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Gather and document business requirements from operational teams and client stakeholders.
• Map current and future-state processes across billing, coding, claims, payment posting, and AR.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and support decisions.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for system, process, or reporting improvements.
• Collaborate with RCM teams to investigate issues and develop solutions.
• Support implementation and testing of new processes, system enhancements, and workflow changes.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and track improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare or revenue cycle management.
• Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes including billing, coding, claims, payment posting, and AR.
• Strong process mapping and workflow analysis skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and data analysis.
• SQL.
• Power BI.
• Experience with healthcare platforms such as Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
