Rate Supervisor – Transportation Operations

About the role

The Rate Supervisor will report to the Rate Manager at the Wilmington service center and lead a team responsible for overcharge claims and short‑pay processing. This full‑time position focuses on improving daily productivity, meeting deadlines, and fostering employee development within the transportation department.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations related to overcharge claims and short‑pay handling.
• Set performance objectives for the team and individual members.
• Develop and maintain work schedules that maximize employee engagement.
• Communicate organizational requirements and identify development opportunities.
• Innovate, evaluate, and implement new processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide regular constructive feedback and ensure compliance with safety practices.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in transportation, business, logistics or a related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependability.
• Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
