About the role
The Range Technician I supports the Innovation Proving Ground (IPG) at the Bush Combat Development Complex on the RELLIS Campus. Working under the IPG Director of Testing, this entry‑level position assists with all phases of customer‑driven events, from demonstrations to full test and evaluation operations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and prepare facilities and equipment for upcoming events.
- Assist in event planning, execution, and post‑event recovery.
- Support the development of strategies, policies, and procedures to improve IPG operations.
- Interact daily with internal partners (e.g., BCDC research teams, College of Engineering) and external stakeholders such as Army organizations and industry labs.
Required profile
- Entry‑level candidate with a willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with diverse partners.
- Ability to follow guidance from senior technologists and department leadership.
