About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Radiology department. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care and supports the radiology team in delivering high‑quality diagnostic services.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients undergoing radiologic procedures.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document patient information accurately.
- Maintain infection control standards and adhere to departmental policies.
Required profile
- Current RN license in the United States.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably with radiology or imaging services.
- Ability to work day‑shift hours in an onsite hospital environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient‑focused care.
Required skills
- Knowledge of radiology procedures and patient preparation.
- Proficiency in patient assessment and vital sign monitoring.
