Radio Content & Programming Director & Morning Show Host

About the role

The station seeks an experienced Radio Content and Programming Director who will also serve as the on‑air talent for the flagship Spanish‑language morning show. The role blends strategic programming, music curation, production oversight and live hosting to deliver engaging, culturally relevant content for the Hispanic community in Omaha.

Key responsibilities

• Host the #1 Spanish‑language morning show, delivering news, music, interviews and community segments with high energy.
• Develop and manage daily programming schedules, integrating live shows, pre‑recorded content, news and special features.
• Lead, coach and evaluate on‑air talent to ensure consistent brand voice and audience engagement.
• Curate the music library, staying current with Latin music trends and coordinating with record labels and artists.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to embed promotions, advertisements and community events into the broadcast.
• Monitor audience feedback and ratings, adjusting programming strategies to grow listenership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in radio programming and on‑air hosting, preferably in Spanish‑language markets.
• Strong knowledge of Latin music genres and emerging trends.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage a diverse Hispanic audience.
• Leadership ability to mentor talent and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
