Quantitative Associate

About the role

Corgi is building a next‑generation insurance platform powered by AI. As a Quantitative Associate you will dive into large data sets, develop quantitative models, and translate insights into actionable strategies for both underwriting and investment portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain quantitative models for pricing, underwriting, forecasting and business decision‑making.
• Support the Head of Underwriting in portfolio management and underwriting strategy development.
• Analyze complex datasets to uncover insurance trends, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement analytical findings.
• Assist the Head of Quantitative Strategy in managing the investment portfolio and shaping investment strategy.
• Design experiments, evaluate outcomes with statistical methods, and stress‑test trade ideas from concept to execution.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives across insurance, operations, finance and growth.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative background in mathematics, statistics, economics, physics, computer science, engineering or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with statistical modeling, forecasting, optimization or machine learning techniques.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• High intellectual curiosity and quick learning of new domains.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.
