Quality Technician

About the role

The Quality Technician (Quality Specialist) ensures that the Rapid Response Center complies with all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. This position drives continuous improvement, supports audits, and collaborates with QESH managers across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with the quality program at the Rapid Response Center.
• Manage the CAR (Corrective Action Request) and NCR (Non‑Conformance Report) processes.
• Lead resolution of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Identify immediate quality concerns and notify management.
• Plan, conduct, and report on all required quality audits.
• Coordinate pre‑audit and post‑audit meetings and close out findings.
• Develop, deliver, and monitor quality training for all site employees.
• Maintain welder certifications and review continuity logs for compliance.
• Provide administrative support for QA‑intensive orders and QMS technical assistance.
• Report program status to management and participate in audits for Emerson and Premier Service Provider facilities.

Required profile

• High School diploma with 4+ years of industry experience, or an Associate’s Degree in a related field with relevant service experience.
• Minimum 3 years of auditing or inspecting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead by influence and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance processes.
