Quality Specialist

About the role

The Quality Specialist creates and maintains clear work instructions, standard operating procedures and other quality documentation for manufacturing processes. The role requires analytical thinking, strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex workflows into concise, user‑friendly documents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain work instructions, SOPs and quality documentation for manufacturing.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with product requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, including process mapping and waste identification.
• Collect and analyse data on defects, rework and cycle time to support corrective actions.
• Support implementation of corrective actions and drive documentation consistency.

Required profile

• Degree in a technical, engineering or operations field, or 1‑3 years of experience in quality control, quality engineering or manufacturing.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and highly organized with strong written communication.
• Ability to collaborate with subject‑matter experts and ask clarifying questions.
• Curiosity and patience to identify gaps and ensure accuracy in documentation.

Required skills

• Technical writing and process documentation.
• Data analysis and process mapping.
• Familiarity with measurement tools and statistical process control (SPC).
• Problem‑solving and ability to simplify complex processes.
