Quality Multi-Function Manager (FPI)

About the role

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking a Quality Multi-Function Manager (FPI) to lead quality initiatives across its composite aerostructure production line. You will ensure full compliance with rigorous aviation quality and regulatory standards while supporting the manufacturing of critical components for the Airbus A350 XWB.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct quality organizations, providing cross‑functional integration across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.
• Manage quality personnel within the assigned functional area, setting performance goals and development plans.
• Establish, oversee, and continuously improve quality processes, policies, and best practices.
• Review production schedules, assign work, and ensure timely product movement in line with schedule commitments.
• Interface with external suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to communicate project priorities and compliance status.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading quality teams in an aerospace or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage resources, drive improvement initiatives, and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
