Quality Multi-Function First-Level Manager (Main Assembly)

About the role

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Multi‑Function First‑Level Manager to lead the Product Inspection team for main‑assembly operations. You will ensure full compliance with manufacturing and regulatory quality standards for critical aircraft components.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct quality personnel within the assigned functional area.
• Establish, oversee, and administer quality processes, policies, and best practices.
• Determine resource requirements, acquisition plans, and improvement initiatives.
• Review production schedules, assign work, and facilitate product movement to meet established timelines.
• Interface with cross‑functional teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the manufacturing flow.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aviation or aerospace quality management.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Leadership experience managing a quality team in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with stringent aerospace quality and regulatory standards.
