Quality Manager – ISO 9001 Manufacturing

About the role

Amazon Manufacturing Services is looking for a Quality Manager to maintain and improve its ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System across all manufacturing operations. You will work closely with quality engineers, inspectors and cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality production of components.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support the ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System, including policy, standards and procedures.
• Manage internal and external QMS tools, document control and change management processes.
• Prepare for and support internal and external ISO 9001 audits, ensuring continuous compliance.
• Conduct gap analyses, drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain QMS effectiveness.
• Oversee quality assurance programs, inspections, audits and first‑article inspections across CNC machining, 3D printing, welding, sheet‑metal fabrication, powder coating and assembly.
• Perform Gage R&R studies, process capability analyses (Cp, Cpk) and statistical process control (SPC) to validate and improve process performance.
• Lead Six Sigma and Lean projects to reduce defects, eliminate waste and enhance cost‑effectiveness.
• Maintain calibration and upkeep of inspection and measurement equipment and manage quality metrics reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and audit processes.
• Hands‑on experience with statistical analysis, Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, operations and production teams.
