Quality Management & Methods Technician

About the role

The Quality Management & Methods (QMM) Technician supports Bosch’s semiconductor manufacturing site by ensuring product and process quality through rigorous verification, inspection, measurement, testing, and data management. The role works on the shop floor and in the clean‑room laboratory, focusing on electrostatic discharge (ESD) compliance and calibration of measurement equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine ESD audits in clean‑room areas and the Q&C laboratory, documenting workstation compliance and maintaining ESD measurement trends.
• Enter and review Inspection, Measurement & Testing (IMT) calibration data in the QMM database, ensuring equipment is calibrated to tolerance requirements.
• Maintain calibration standards, reference tools, and equipment labels, coordinating with vendors for calibration support.
• Prepare samples for lab analysis using mechanical polishing, cross‑sectioning, pre‑sputtering, and advanced techniques such as PFIB when qualified.
• Maintain lab tools, consumables, and sample traceability while adhering to safety, cleanroom, and ESD protocols.

• Ability to work safely in clean‑room environments and follow strict ESD control procedures.
• Willingness to learn and support advanced sample‑preparation methods.
