Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

About the role

Eaton’s Electrical Sector – ARS division is looking for a Quality Engineer to join the Fibrebond team at our Minden, LA manufacturing campus. You will develop, apply, and maintain quality standards to ensure customer requirements are met throughout production.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and procedures across manufacturing operations.
• Support engineering and program teams with continuous‑improvement and problem‑solving initiatives.
• Lead corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, A3, and Lean methodologies.
• Manage non‑conforming material, including disposition, containment, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures aligned with Eaton QMS and ISO 9001.
• Communicate quality issues, lead root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action efforts.
• Support audits and promote a strong quality culture.
• Perform error‑proofing evaluations and create a Calibration Bands Roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of engineering, quality, or operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or TS16949.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
