Quality Engineer – Bilingual Spanish

About the role

The Quality Engineer will support Foxconn Assembly’s manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality meets both internal standards and customer expectations. This bilingual (Spanish/English) role involves documentation, audits, and continuous improvement activities across multiple product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update quality documentation including procedures, inspection records, and SOPs.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve quality issues and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare and present quality reports for defect‑reduction and quality‑improvement meetings.
• Lead corrective actions for EQIR/QNAR findings and manage non‑conforming material disposition.
• Conduct first‑article inspections (FAI) for new product introductions, first customer shipments, and engineering change notifications.
• Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO and Six Sigma standards.
• Guide Quality Inspectors and out‑of‑box auditors, and coordinate purge and rework activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or Associate’s with relevant experience).
• Minimum 1 year of quality experience; 3 years preferred.
• Manufacturing environment exposure is a plus.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
• Understanding of ISO quality standards.
