Quality Engineer – Additive Manufacturing

About the role

The Quality Engineer will lead quality activities for the Additive Manufacturing organization in Winston‑Salem, NC. You will establish and maintain robust quality standards, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Lead internal and external audits and manage the CAPA process, including root‑cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality specifications and process controls.
• Analyze quality data, report trends, and initiate improvement projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and suppliers to resolve and prevent product and process issues.
• Oversee supplier qualification and performance monitoring.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of quality professionals or technicians.
• Deliver quality training programs and act as the primary point of contact for quality matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing a QMS and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
