Quality Control Technician – Catalyst Production

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to join BASF’s Catalyst division in Vidalia, Louisiana. The role supports the Process Catalyst business by ensuring raw materials, in‑process samples and finished products meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze raw materials, in‑process samples and final products for compliance with customer specifications.
• Document test results and maintain traceability records.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments safely and professionally.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies and 5S organization.
• Create or update standard operating procedures.
• Use SAP QM to manage quality management processes and generate reports.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and accuracy.
• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts, including nights and holidays.
