Quality Control Regional Manager - West Coast

About the role

The Regional Manager, Quality Control for the West Coast oversees the execution of Allegiant Air’s Quality Control program across the assigned region. Reporting to the Senior Manager of QC Line Maintenance, the role ensures all required inspections, RII authorizations, and special inspections are performed in compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and enforce inspection standards, methods, and procedures for the region.
• Supervise Quality Control Inspectors, Receiving Specialists, and authorized AMTs, ensuring accurate inspection records.
• Guarantee compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, Part 121/135 requirements, and manufacturer guidance.
• Oversee RII (Return to Service) processes, one‑time RII, and airworthiness release authorizations.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and maintain high safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s in Engineering, Aviation Management or related field preferred.
• Active A&P license with RII authority.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Transport Category Part 121 maintenance (or equivalent) and at least 5 years in line/maintenance QC or RIA.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience with direct reports in a maintenance environment.
• One year of experience as a Part 121 inspector or lead authorized AMT.

Required skills

• A&P License with RII authority
• Non‑destructive testing techniques: Engine Borescope, Eddy Current, Ultrasound, Magnetic Particle, Fluorescent Penetrant
• Experience with Airbus A320 family aircraft
• Familiarity with CFM56 engines
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
