Quality Control Manager

About the role

The Quality Control Manager leads production quality, continuous improvement, and supplier support across Constellation Brands' network of wineries and distilleries. This position oversees a team of quality professionals and works closely with winemaking, distillation, operations, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure world‑class quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and provide quality coverage for bottling, mobile, third‑party, and rework operations.
• Coordinate laboratory resources and line support for scheduled bottling activities.
• Define and lead startup quality activities, validations, in‑process checks, and final product releases.
• Develop tactical tools and procedures specific to site operations and train bottling staff.
• Maintain documentation and control of quality records for each site.
• Oversee incoming material inspection, in‑process checks, and final product inspection.
• Approve inspection procedures and sampling plans as needed.
• Lead root‑cause investigations, manage holds/releases, and create rework plans.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in food and beverage production.
• Demonstrated leadership in quality management systems and food safety.
• Experience with supplier quality, risk assessment, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to travel across multiple sites to support fixed‑line, mobile, and third‑party operations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams including winemaking, distilling, engineering, and regulatory affairs.
