Quality Business Systems Specialist

About the role

Moog is seeking a Quality Business Systems Specialist to support and coordinate key business systems in its Buffalo, NY facility. The role blends internal auditing, Material Review Board (MRB) facilitation, Corrective Action Review Board (CARB) coordination, and quality administration to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits, track corrective actions, and ensure closure.
• Facilitate MRB and CARB meetings, manage change records, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor non‑conformance reports, follow up on NCs, and assist with KPI tracking and reporting.
• Maintain quality databases and documentation to support audit readiness.
• Support lean and continuous‑improvement initiatives across cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field with at least 3 years of experience in quality systems, internal audit, or manufacturing administration (Associate’s degree with 7 years acceptable).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards, ERP/MES systems, and MS Office.
• Preferred auditor certification (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, AS9100) and experience with KPI reporting, lean/CI methods.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
