Quality Assurance Technician – Food Production

About the role

Join Nestlé USA as a Quality Assurance Technician and help ensure the safety and quality of our beloved food brands. You will work on the production floor, applying food safety standards and supporting continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Identify control points and critical control points, manage allergen control plans, and follow thermal processing, metal detection, sanitation, and foreign‑material prevention guidelines.
• Interpret product quality specifications, take corrective actions for out‑of‑spec issues, and document findings.
• Operate in multiple roles such as Flash 18 Line Tech, Receiving Tech, Can Seam Tech, and Lab Tech.
• Complete required paperwork, use SAP and the DMO NCC New Weight Program, and communicate issues to QA management.
• Train fellow operators, conduct hand‑offs between shifts, and perform master sanitation tasks as directed.

Required profile

• Reliable attendance and performance record.
• Ability to read and write effectively and follow employee handbook policies.
