Quality Assurance Associate

About the role

The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for protecting REVOLVE’s bottom line by minimizing monetary loss from defective merchandise. The role focuses on identifying the most effective recovery process for each item, whether through repair, restoration, sellable defect handling, or other methods.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect apparel, shoes, accessories, and beauty items to identify defects.
• Determine the optimal defect recovery process for each product (RA, restore, sellable defect, etc.).
• Communicate clearly with vendors about defective or unacceptable merchandise.
• Negotiate credits or replacements with vendors to recover value.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors through consistent communication.
• Support other departmental tasks as needed.

Required profile

• High attention to detail with the ability to spot apparel and non‑apparel flaws.
• Hands‑on approach to restoring merchandise quickly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of apparel construction and fabrication.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Self‑starter who can own tasks and meet responsibilities without supervision.
• Team player capable of working with diverse personalities.
• Sense of urgency and ability to maintain high productivity.
