QC/QA Material Receiving Inspector

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector – Material & Equipment Delivery ensures that all incoming materials and equipment meet Worley’s strict quality, compliance, and sustainability standards. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the inspector safeguards project assets by applying rigorous inspection practices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of materials and equipment upon delivery to verify compliance with specifications, safety standards, and contractual requirements.
• Apply independent judgment to resolve complex quality issues and recommend corrective actions aligned with Worley’s policies and sustainability goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, non‑conformance reports, and resolution processes for traceability.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to identify and mitigate potential quality risks.
• Ensure consistent application of quality control procedures and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on advanced inspection techniques.
• Assist in developing and refining quality systems, processes, and inspection tools.
• Participate in audits and assessments to maintain regulatory compliance.
