QC Trainer

About the role

Airgas is seeking a QC Trainer to support its ANS districts with quality control training, SOP compliance, and safety practices. The role involves developing training programs, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site training and support to ANS districts on standard operating procedures, equipment use, and documentation.
• Develop and manage training media, in‑house classes, and curriculum aligned with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Evaluate operator knowledge on service tickets, job reports, and DOT logs, delivering feedback to trainees and management.
• Coach ANS leaders on Quality Control Team initiatives, audit results, and safety programs such as JSA and Near Miss reporting.
• Assist with quality control audits, inspections, corrective actions, and reporting of regulatory compliance issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with nitrogen pumping equipment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of nitrogen pumping equipment and related products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
