QA Automation Engineer Advanced

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead testing efforts on a high‑visibility, multi‑year project. You will guide a team of QA professionals, collaborate with product owners, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality software solutions across the 9th District and the Federal Reserve System.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to the QA team.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Lead the creation and execution of test plans, scripts, and data sets.
• Collaborate with business areas to define requirements and integrate solutions.
• Assist with audit reviews and address findings for existing applications.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and cloud deployment options.
• Participate in moderate to high‑complexity technology initiatives, including new development and automation projects.
• Deliver technical training and expertise to automation and business staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Minimum nine years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to work on‑site in Minneapolis.
