Python Expert & IT Solutions Developer

About the role

Infosys Public Services is looking for a Python Expert & IT Solutions Developer to lead technology initiatives across the United States. The role focuses on designing, building, and deploying Python‑based solutions that automate IT operations, manage data, and support cloud‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Python applications and scripts for IT operational automation and data management.
• Perform data acquisition, cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation for large‑scale datasets.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP, using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Utilize Databricks for data engineering, analytics, and machine‑learning pipelines.
• Apply software‑engineering best practices including version control (Git), code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create technical diagrams and architecture documents using Microsoft Visio or Draw.io.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and deploying production‑grade Python solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and container orchestration.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Awareness of ethical data‑science practices, bias mitigation, and secure coding.
