Purchasing Coordinator – Indirect Procurement

About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator supports Chipotle’s supply chain by managing the procurement of goods and services needed for restaurant development and daily operations. You will work across facilities, construction, IT, and corporate functions to ensure timely, accurate purchase order processing and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Generate purchase orders for capital expenditure items and coordinate with vendors for indirect procurement needs.
• Review architectural plans for new restaurants to determine required items and quantities.
• Manage a ServiceNow task queue, completing tickets within department timelines.
• Maintain accurate data in the procure‑to‑pay system and troubleshoot work‑order issues.
• Monitor and audit integrations between ServiceChannel, ServiceNow, and Oracle Cloud, and conduct quarterly testing.
• Respond to requisitions within one business day, create purchase requisitions, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on capitalization policies and budget items.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets teams to resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies.
• Document procedures and maintain communication with suppliers throughout the procurement process.

Required profile

• Experience in indirect procurement or purchasing coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder collaboration.
• Familiarity with capital‑expenditure purchasing processes and architectural plan review.
