About the role
Master Pumps & Power, a SunSource company, is hiring a pump mechanic in Grapevine, TX. It is one of the largest pump distributors in North America, stocking over 8,000 pumps and offering custom design, fabrication and on-site services.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair and rebuild centrifugal, gear and diaphragm pumps and related equipment such as motors, compressors and valves.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assemble and disassemble rotating equipment.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment.
- Install and maintain pump systems.
Required profile
- Experience varies by level: entry-level candidates may assist others, while senior roles involve fabrication.
- Ability to own and maintain personal tools.
- Soft skills: problem-solving, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork and client service.
- Optional certifications: OSHA safety training and relevant technical diplomas.
Required skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Pump and motor assembly.
- Use of pressure gauges and flow meters.
- Hydraulics.
