Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Kingman Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient Pulmonology team in Kingman, Arizona. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions while providing education and coordinated care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and symptom review.
• Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests such as spirometry, chest X‑ray, labs, and arterial blood gases.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans for acute and chronic pulmonary diseases (e.g., asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension).
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice and state regulations.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, smoking cessation, and breathing strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with Nurse Practitioner certification from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Arizona NP license and national FNP certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred experience in pulmonary or respiratory care.

Required skills

• Spirometry and pulmonary function testing.
• Interpretation of chest imaging (X‑ray, CT).
• Arterial blood gas analysis.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
