Publications Technician II

About the role

The Escondido Union School District is seeking a Publications Technician II to support the production and distribution of district publications. This classified position works within the district’s administrative team to ensure timely and accurate publication processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform duties related to the creation, preparation, and distribution of district publications as assigned.

Required profile

• Subscribe to an Oath of Allegiance.
• Pass a general tuberculosis examination, fingerprinting, and a pre‑placement physical examination.
• Provide proof of identity and legal right to work in the United States.
• Agree to the district’s drug‑free workplace policy and pass drug testing.
• Possess the relevant training, education, and experience required for the classification and successfully pass all examination parts.
• For current district employees, receive service credit of 0.5 points per year of classified service, up to five points.
