Public Relations Manager – North America

About the role

We are seeking a Manager, Public Relations to join Oatly’s North American team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of PR, you will help shape and execute the company’s PR strategy across business, consumer and industry media, supporting brand reputation and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement North American PR strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers and media outlets across business, consumer and trade sectors.
• Secure strategic press coverage in print, digital and broadcast platforms, including feature stories and product placements.
• Manage day‑to‑day interactions with PR and influencer agencies and coordinate with global PR teams.
• Monitor cultural trends and identify entry points for Oatly’s voice in the broader narrative.
• Serve as the communications partner for nutrition and sustainability directors, driving mission‑focused storytelling.

Required profile

• Proven experience in media relations and thought‑leadership communications.
• Strong network of contacts in business, consumer and trade media.
• Ability to work collaboratively across corporate affairs, public affairs, internal communications and sustainability functions.
• Creative mindset with a willingness to challenge conventional PR practices.
